This is awesome!!! I just twittered you this suggestion, but thought I'd post it here too! Have you thought about the West Coast Trail in British Columbia? The whole thing takes a few days, but you can do BEAUTIFUL one-day hikes on it to. Just did part of it this summer while I was living up there – it looks like you're in the CA/Oregon area anyway – it would be a feasible weekend trip from Seattle! Anyway, I'll be back to check up on your blog
