Luckily, it looks like the foothills east of Mt. Wilson have been spared so far, including the Chantry Flats area. However, it is closed due to the fires at this time.<br><br>I need to catch up on my blogging. I would like to be up-to-date by hike #100, so that will probably mean less and less videos. Maybe I'll make one video with clips from five hikes at a time. Even w/o the video, a blog entry take about two hours to produce. With a video, up to four. Thanks! It feels like it's been a little while since I'd had one of these to read about--I was missing them. I had to remind myself that these blog entries are probably pretty labor intensive to get written up and posted--and I also had to remind mysel of this:<br><br>"Kolby promised to TAKE the 100 hikes by Jan 1--not necessarily BLOG about them all by then!" ;-)<br><br>Keep up the good work!<br><br>(On a more somber note, I'm not remembering now--is this one of the areas that has burned this week?)
